There’s something about the start of spring that makes us want to pop the all black ensembles to the back of the closet and add a dash off colour to our looks. Bright hues are an instant mood lifter, so as the sun starts to shine and the days get longer, here’s our tips for incorporating these energising shades in to your new season style.

1. In The Bag

If you’re always wearing monochrome, accessories are the perfect way to dip your toe in the (colourful) water. A bright coloured bag will add that extra wow factor to an outfit.

2. Get Shady

Make a fun statement with sunglasses in jewel tone shades. This season anything goes when it comes to frames and it’s such an easy way to give your current wardrobe a fresh colour update.

3. Fancy Footwork

The perfect companion to wide leg pants, cocktail dress or that denim and silk cami combo, pop-bright heels complement any look. Keep your outfit neutral or complement a pink dress with a red shoe for maximum impact.

4. The Little Bright Dress

Forget the little black dress, this season is all about brights.
With energising red, pink associated with love and kindness and the calming shade of blue, it makes perfect sense we dress in these mood enhancing hues!

5. Styles Ahead

There’s nothing more on trend for headwear this spring racing than colour. Have fun with a tropical print turban inspired head band or stick with a more traditional look with a fascinator or floral crown. Either way, you’ll be the prettiest filly trackside!
